5.1 Practical Applications
Finding the mass of Jupiter would help astronomers in both calculation or planning space missions. The astronomers can predict meteors that are close to Jupiter and see if the course of the asteroid would change. We have also figured out a way to find the mass of jupiter, so we can tell other people who are interested how to reproduce the experiment.
5.2 Areas for further study
One of the areas for further study is how we are supposed to find the diameter of Jupiter. In our project, the diameter of Jupiter is known, so it would be a good further study to find the diameter of Jupiter.
Another area for further study is how we can use this method to find other the mass of the earth using the satellites that orbit around earth. We could do this by observing the moon’s period or the man-made satellites.
