Determination of the mass of Jupiter and finding the period of the moons of Jupiter using planetary photography.
Our research goal is to find the mass of Jupiter using planetary photography. Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system and is more than twice the mass of all the other planets in the solar system, dwarf planets, moons and asteroids combined. But how can we find Jupiter’s mass using planetary photography? We would try to find it by observing Jupiter’s four galilean moons to find the mass of Jupiter.We want to do this project to help other astronomers or researchers know better about Jupiter to test if the Kepler’s Third Law works, and we are able to use it to find the mass of Jupiter. If the law works then researchers can use it to measure the mass of other planets with moons too. We are able to use it to find the mass of Jupiter.
